Dogs.....Last week Jerry and boys went to Texas and brought back 41 head of little cattle....300#s, just pulled off Mama...feeling a little puney....scared and not knowing their surroundings much. Green little calves....After a few days in the lot he turned them out, penned them for the first few nights, began to let them stay out at night after a few more days....Noticed that a big bunch of them were out on the neighbor to the north, one was limping badly...front foot...something broken. Thought....probably dogs....Found dogs IN the calves the next morning...removed the problem. Unhappy neighbors, unfortunate situation...we can't allow damage to our business, dog owners would not like it if we damaged their income. We would do away with ours if they were damaging theirs.
