| When Sara & Jecc were little they often spent the night with us. We'd go feed cows and would always have to pick out which "cow" belonged to them. They "owned" Moe and Joe, our longhorn steers...feed wasters who never-ever produced a calf for the girls! We also enjoyed singing the "COW FEEDING SONG" with them, which was to the tune of Jingle Bells. Once when we found a steer dead and extremely bloated....their loving uncle Jerry told them a big tale about it....they believed him for many years. They are both married now and have found other loves.....feeding cows with us is just a good memory now. |
