*Weaning

When the sisters and I were little we had a couple horses named Thunder & Lightning, they were a Shetland and a Welch.  Fast forward thirty plus years and we have a new Lightining.  He is half quarter horse and half  "Heinz 57" breed.  Today he will be weaned, he will not be happy, he will run,snort and paw the ground.  He'll throw a bit tantrum....then he'll get over it and be happy with the other horses.  His Momma will thank me......
