All of our vehicles have names. Black Betty is hubby's pick up. It is a black dodge with a new Hoswell Hay bed made by our friend Jerry Renshaw.(small plug, Google Hoswell Hay beds, Elgin, Oklahoma) It also sports a big ol' feed box....which makes a completely different noise than our old one does, it scared the cows at first, but they are no longer worried and will come for vittles at any time. Well, back to Black Betty, like my computer she is sick and is currently in intensive care in an Oklahoma City Dodge hospital. Thank goodness she has not surpassed her warranty as Black Betty does not have governmental health care and she does not want it!!! She should be home by next Wednesday. We are getting a rental car courtesy of the Intensive Care Dodge dealer....I bet we won't be able to load the diesel tank in it!!
*Disclaimer: That is an illegal alien driving BB, it couldn't be our 11 year old kid who does not possess a drivers license-but he does possess an innate ability for seat, stearing wheel and radio adjustment.
Hopefully Black Betty will come out of this just fine. Hubby mowed hay yesterday, beautiful weather here in MO. Our kids were driving equipment too, long before they could ever get driver's licenses. In fact, our son started running a Bobcat at age 5 :). Have a wonderful weekend!
