It might be Kentucky Derby Day, but here in Haycutter Oklahoma it's The Blooms & The Buckin' Day! The locust trees are in full bloom and smell divine. Our rose bush,iris and peony are in all stages of bloom. Too bad the wind has blown 400 mph around here lately...it sure it hard on pretty little flowers! But, the biggest bloomer and bucker of the day...Strawberry! She cut loose and blossomed right up and down, left and right and plop...went her rider. The rider in question rooted up some sandrock with his forehead. He says that Strawberry is for sale...she isn't. She is due a few miles. Just enough to get the bloom out of her.
