Slick Hills

My "good" horse kicked the bucket about 2001, she was a bay with a pretty good cow sense about her.  She was also prone to bucking when the need arose and therefore did not always live up to her name--- Lady.  But, I cried anyway like a big ol' baby when I found her dead.  Fast forward to 2010 where I have commandeered oldest child's horse "Trigger" for a ride in the Slick Hills.  Trig is my kind of horse, short to the ground, a bit fat and not a bit interested in spooking.  It hurt to hit the ground a long time ago....probably hurts much more now!  Don't wish to prove that hypothesis on my 44 yo bones.  We had a good time, no broken bones nor rattlesnake sightings.   Oldest on "Dipstick", myself & Trigger in the middle and youngest on "Chester" to the right.
