WARNING!!...BLOODY/DEAD WILD PIG PICTURE ............. The Three Little Pigs and their big, ol' ugly momma came out to visit while I was planting wheat at Russell Farm yesterday. The darlings (on an earlier & more enjoyable visit) had torn up a huge area of newly planted wheat...rooting for the seeds...bless their hearts...so glad we could feed them!! Well with the help of my pathetic-never enough tower-no reception You S Stinkular cellphone I called Mr. Wheatplanterman who was sorting cattle at the time...I tried to yell "HELP...BRING GUN...WILD PIGS AT RUSSELL FARM...COME IN ON EAST SIDE...". The conversation was like Morse Code..--.-..but he got it after two attempts and came to my rescue...really they were not doing me any physical harm...but they were TEARING UP OUR WHEAT.... for those of you who are non-farmer/rancher types....THEY WERE STEALING MONEY OUT OF OUR BANK!!!! Well, long story short....out of four there are now two....which is still way too many! You do know that they reproduce like crazy....they make rabbits look like sissies! They can have three litters (births) per year....and they can raise as many as they have milk jugs for!
My Dear Husband and his friend "Tater" (a wildlife biologist for Texas) are frequently out and about trying to rid us of those particular pests!
