Grieving ones Parents

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 KJV

We always ask why, why, why?   I think the verse above spells it out.  Still grieving is painful, but through that pain we can empathize and help others...so today I'll go on with life with that experience of parental loss behind me...and I'll be singing..."I'm an old cow hand and my cheeks are tan, I ride fat bay mare across Pee River Dam.."  That was a version of my Daddy's cow working song....It changed on occassion to meet the horse or location.
