The Faust family made money banking in the early years of New Braunfels. When the son died he donated a substantial amount of that money to the Conservation Plaza for the restoration of the Jahn House. Bless his heart and all of hard work of the CP members, the Jahn House is pretty cool!! They host weddings there and the Jahn House is used for the brides dressing room. Pretty cool!!
