If you are an Oklahoma State Alum...or just wish you were, then you are wonderfully familiar with Hideaway Pizza. My first venture into the hippyfied joint was with Mandy & Amanda, my college friends who hailed from East of I-35. We once had fried mushrooms there and I am always cautious now, as I burned the stuffing out of my lip on one, many moons ago. But, not to worry, our family tried them out again Saturday night in OKC, still wonderful! We had a "Big Country" pizza and called it a night. The lights around Chesapeake Energy (a business which is very close to the Hideaway) and on Western Ave. are so cool.........worth driving up to see and worth a fried mushroom at the hippy joint!
