This girl has a new name...SWIMMER Jahn. She found herself in the pond after being pushed in while trying to get a drink..."one at a time" means nothing to cattle. The sides of the pond are frozen and slick so the cattle are falling in almost daily. Mr. Calffeederman and his two helpers extracted this girl from the water around noon today and now she is resting peacefully and warmly in the Hotel Jahn, located next to the Show Calf Palace. The handmade enclosure was built by Old & Young Jahn Kid Construction Co. Farm kids are so resourceful! They used everything they could find to build a makeshift shelter for Swimmer. You'll notice a colorful display of old feed sacks, saddle blankets and a nice blue tarp. So, if your home needs a little addn' on???
